Apple iTunesWelcome to the last In The News post of the year. It has been a long, long year for news and you know that I have done my best to cover the most interesting and funniest. There is enough bad news to go around everyday and my goal has always been to make you laugh and help you forget about them even if only for a few minutes. So get ready for the weekend and enjoy it as much as I am enjoying my eleven day weekend. But before that happens remember to read In The News and don’t forget to tell you friends about it.

  1. Did you read about that rare “Jenny”? It seems that a rare “Jenny” stamp sold for $825,000 dollars at auction. The 1918, 24 cent stamp depicts an upside down Curtis JN-4 biplane known as “Jenny”.  The mint condition red, white and blue stamp is one of the finest known surviving stamps from the original sheet of 100 misprints. I forgot to bid and you know how I like doing that.
  2. Did you read about the Gap jacket? It seems that the The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Gap Inc are recalling more than 16,000 boys jackets because a piece attached to waist drawstring poses an “entrapment hazard to children.” The jacket can be returned to any Gap outlet store for a full refund. 
  3. Did you read about the most watched movie trailers of 2007? It seems that the list of the 10 most popular movie trailers yahoo users watched the most is out. Here for you are the top five. Number 1, Transformers. Number 2, Spider-Man 3. Number 3, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Number 4, Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix and at number 5, 300. Hope your favorite made list.
