This week felt like it would never end but Friday is here and I am glad. That can only mean that it’s time for In The News, shake well before reading.
- Did you read about the big baby? It seems that a Siberian woman gave birth to her 12th child. Baby Nadia was delivered by caesarean section and weighed in at 17.1 pounds!!. “What did the father say? He couldn’t say a thing — he just stood there blinking.” said Tatyana Barabanova, Nadia’s mother. That is one big baby.
- Did you read about TV’s top earners? It seems that the top 20 TV earners made a collective $723 million dollars from June ‘06 to June ‘07 according to Forbes TV 20. Here are the top five. 1. Oprah Winfrey with $260 million, 2. Jerry Seinfeld with $60 million, 3. Simon Cowell with $45 million, 4. David Letterman with $40 million and at number 5. Donald Trump with $32 million. My name in that list………………..nope.
